One Reviewer says "It simply works exactly as intended and expected." another review says, "Adds flexibility not possible with animation rigging." and goes further in to explaining that the final IK is very relevent and in some ways far superior than the Unity's default rigging system.

He further goes on: "The ability to modify IK targets at runtime for instance is critical for some advanced use cases and this is simply not possible, by design, in the unity animation rigging package. For instance, I have a ton of different weapons available in my game, each with their own targets for hand IK but a shared set of animations based on root motion - ie Rifles all fire with the same motion, but different rifles have different hand IK targets.

I'm unable to instantiate these weapons and dynamically reset the IK targets with unity's animation rigging package, it's simply just not something they are able to support based on how the system is designed. Also, it's far easier to support full body animation overrides, like pushing back the characters shoulder when firing large guns. This takes a lot of complicated setup in Unity's animation rigging package and very is difficult, again, if you need to change targets at runtime."
